Dover Arkansas 06172011

We needed an oil change and found this place in Elins, AR. They got the job done so quickly we hardly had time to fill out the paper work.

Quaint little town, Jasper, Arkansas. We stopped here on our way to the home of our first Evergreen hosts. Linda got two huge scoops of ice cream in a waffle cone for $1.50 here.
We visited the antique shop here and asked if we could use the restroom. Here it is.
We had lunch here just south of Jasper. Great home style food and a great view.
We got stuck behind this trailor of hay on the narrow, winding road to the Cliff House Restaurant. It was moving very slowly. Luckily we were able to pass it soon after this photo was shot.

Our first Evergreen Hosts, Maureen and Jeff. They are marvelous people. Their home is in the mountains with a fantastic view. We sat on the back porch and watched the sun set while eating homemade ice cream and strawberries.

A stop after leaving the home of Jeff & Maureen on the morning of the 18th.
Civil War Memorial

We spent some time in here and learned interesting things about the area.
