May 25, Branson, Missouri

Welcome to Missouri. Debbie was very helpful in giving us some good directions. Now we drive on to the Best American RV Park to spend a couple of nights and see the sights. The trip to here was windy and long. We haven't seen the sun since we left Texas. We are hoping for better weather to arrive soon.

Here we are in Branson, Missouri. Supposedly the capital of country, blue grass and gospel music. It is late in the day, but we have time to take a drive around and look at the place.

The main drag of Branson is Theatres for live performances, hotels, restaurants, gift/souvenir shops, and amusement spots. Very "tourist trap". Interesting to drive by and look, but not inviting. The attractions are pricey and what we want is the old time feel.

The Duttons were one of the finalists on America's Got Talent. Looks like they get their wish. Now they are performing and can choose which family members are included.

The Ripply people really like unique architecture.
